漫画やテレビアニメで大人気の『ワンピース』を題材にした対戦アクションゲーム。プレイヤーはルフィやゾロ、サンジなどのキャラクターのなかからひとりを選択。仕掛け満載の3Dステージを舞台に、落ちているアイテムを駆使しながら必殺技を使って敵を倒していく。選択したキャラによって挿入されるイベントが異なるため、さまざまなサイドストーリーを楽しめる。
本作では、ビビ王女を中心とした冒険「アラバスタ編」が描かれており、新キャラクターとしてルフィ海賊団のチョッパーや、クロコダイル率いる秘密結社バロックワークスのメンバーが追加された。さらに、新たなギミックを備えた新ステージ、アイテムなども用意されている。もちろん、ルフィたちにも新しい必殺技が加えられ、すべてがパワーアップ。また、必殺技が練習できる「修行モード」が搭載され、初心者にもプレイしやすい配慮がなされている。（池村慎一）
